Dark amber color. The aroma hits with a nice nuttiness. The mouthfeel is lean, dry, with delicate toasty notes; correct bitterness; the final gets a bit creamy.
A different one; pleasant.

Light brown, sweetish, not much taste, just a little brown sugar, touch of caramel, bit thin. Bottom line: If I was locked in a hotel room and fed this for 15 years, Iíd definitely want to kill some people.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours brown with a fizzy/foamy light tan head. Aroma is slightly roasty malt and floral. Actually makes me think of cola. Med body. Flavor is slightly roasty malt and mostly floral. Itís not truly dry, but itís not very sweet. Flavor is still sort of towards cola, with a light touch of chocolate and some light stone fruit. And floral. Best part, perhaps, itís a brown with very little, if any, greasy nuttiness. And then I found it. Still, itís well integrated. Gonna drink it.

Easy drinking summer beer. A serviceable offering, with fast dissipating head on brown body. Malty, nutty.

Deep brown pour. The nose is pretty nice and chocolatey. A soft toasted malt character and a touch of herbal character. Dry cocoa and some toasted nuts as well. There is a bit of blackberry fruitiness on the back. Simple, but a pretty nice brown ale.

2014-04-04. Dark brown body with a small frothy beige head. 3+ Aroma is sweetly malty, lightly toasty roast malt. Flavour is similar, sweetish malt core with pleasant toasty malt accents, light dusty touches and mild caramel touches throughout. Smooth average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent take on the style but just okay. Bottle several months old from the LCBO.

DuffMan (6438) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 9, 2012
Bottle. Medium-to-dark brown colour with golden highlights and an average off white head that leaves no lace. Aroma and flavour are caramel with nutty and earthy undertones. This played more like a brown ale than an English pale ale, but either way it wasnít bad.

Bottle [341ml]. Pours a deep amber-brown with an average lasting frothy beige head. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts, leafy hops and some fruit. Malty, nutty, earthy flavour along with leafy hops, a hint of chocolate and some fruit. Light bodied. Nothing great, just a decent brown ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
