COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’ve carved out a pumpkin Oktoberfest even Ichabod would love. This hearty, malty lager is warmed by the mighty pumpkin and lifted with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice and ginger.

Bottle - Pumpkin is upfront with spices and pale malts. Clear effervescent gold with a thin white head. Lots of pumpkin and a simple clean finish. Very light and refreshing, but after a few sips the pumpkin on it’s own is just a bit much. Nice idea, good execution, but not to my taste.

Ambrée/orange brumeux avec un petit col beige. L’arôme de citrouille sourdiné avec du malt. Le goût est de malt avec un peu de citrouille. Il a une finale un peu acide.

This is a smooth lager based pumpkin style beer. Pours amber orange, weak head. Nice pumpkin flavour. Not overly spiced like many other styles. Very drinkable and smooth. Some Punkin beers can be over the top and you can only drink one or two, you can drink this all night. Tasted at the Kingston in Vancouver ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap@parallel 69. Whisky color. Small head. Faint pumpkin Spice notes. Dry clean filtrated. Humble not primitive.

Tap. Pours orange ?? who would have thunk ? Aroma is nice and smells like pumpkin seed but tastes bland and sugary sweet.

Pours a amber colour almost no head. Aroma is mostly cinnamon. Flavour is light pumpkin and nutmeg notes and cinnamon.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma of feint pumpkin spices, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Flavour brings out pumpkin purée, a little nutmeg, and a touch of cinnamon. Sort of like a watered down Pumking. Good stuff, but nothing special.

Amber pour. Light body. Lots of nutmeg, minimal cinnamon. Light biscuity malts. Another pumpkin ale that I couldn’t drink more than a few sips, and reconfirming my usual disappointment with the category.

Somewhat cardboard-like and vegetal in the nose with a cloying sweetness and hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Clear dark golden/light amber coloured body is topped by a thin, white, rapidly, and fully, diminishing head. Light malt sweetness is not as cloying as the aroma suggested but spices are underwhelming and hop character also lacking. Very strong carbonation takes over the light body. Not sure my bottle was in the best condition though I’m not sure it would have been my thing regardless. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (sampled in Fall 2012).

Alright my last pumpkin beer for the season... got this in the mix pack a while back. The nose is a little sweet, caramel, spices, and rich malt. Smooth mouthfeel, a mixture of the malt and pumpkin. Barely any finish, which fine by me as "finish" +"pumpkin" = "cloying".

Sounds stupid at first, but really pumpkin and Oktoberfest seems like a natural fit here, they really pulled it off. I guess I always thought pumpkin was "heavy" because it was always found in ales. This is much better. I closed my eyes and Imagined, "What if Dead Frog had made this?" And yes, I’d still think it deserved a 3.3.
