We’ve carved out a pumpkin Oktoberfest even Ichabod would love. This hearty, malty lager is warmed by the mighty pumpkin and lifted with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice and ginger.

In bottle; aroma of sweet nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste was medium bodies, with the same spice notes and a hint of pumpkin. I found this one almost a little too sweet vs. the other pumpkin beers available. It was good; but do not think I would buy again.

Bottle to flute I got a six pack of these back in October hoping to keep the thanksgiving/Halloween spirit going. This one has been sitting idle for a few months and today, I realized that I never rated it. It has a spicy (mace, nutmeg, nutmeg, and cinnamon) and gourdy aroma with some maple and brown sugar. It’s a cloudy amber with practically no head. Taste is pumpkin, nutmeg, all-spice, and ginger. Not a great beer...but a great drink, because I love pumpkin.

where to start this beer is the ultimate fail unless and only if you don’t like heavy pumpkin beers cause its lighter than a feather and the weakest pumpkin taste you ever did taste

Bottle (341 ml). From FondueVoodoo, thanks! Clear bright golden/orange with a small off-white head and little to no lacing. Aroma is most of spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, all-spice and ginger) along with pumpkin and light caramel. Taste is about the same with as much spices. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Even with all those spices it’s still decently drinkable. Not my kind of beer, but not bad for the style.

2013-10-23. Crisp dark amber body head modest off white head. Aroma is mild, sweetish malt, whisper of vanilla and cinnamon. Flavour sweetish malt base, sweet pumpkin and a bit of pumpkin spice, cinnamon notes. Whisper of vanilla or am I imagining that? Smooth average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation. 3+ Decent. On tap at Volo, Toronto

Pours a clear copper with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma of cereal/pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and slight ginger. Taste is pine pumpkin, nutmeg allspice and a nice ginger tingle on the finish. Crisp and eat lager and a nice marzen base that’s quite malty and not too overpowered by the spices although the pumpkin becomes a bit much after a pint but still easy to drink.

This is one of the best pumpkin beers I have tried. 341ml bottle 5%. Clear copper-amber pour, that produces a bubbly foam. Aroma is potent, lots of nutmeg, cinnamon, hint of allspice. Taste is malty, lots of sweet and grainy notes, and a heavy fleshy pumpkin flavour This is a pretty good seasonal, and despite the presence of fairly heavy flavours, it remains a balanced, medium bodied lager.

Pumpkin and oktoberfest style, not tap things I tend to enjoy on their own. Louts clear brown without head or lacing. Pumpkin pie aroma with some not. Finishes with light sweetness and a little sourness on long term finish. Soft carbonation. Tap at volos.

Clear amber with a pale head. Aroma is pumpkin, allspice, caramel, hint of vanilla. Light-medium bodied, vaguely oily mouthfeel, sweet on the palate with a vegetal finish. Taste is pumpkin, spices, caramel. Good, easy drinking pumpkin seasonal.

Good creamy pumpkin aroma and taste. Not much in the ways of spices but still pretty tasty.

Pours a crystal clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, some caramel maltiness and traces of pumpkin. Flavour is a spice mixture of cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, a light ginger kick, mild bitterness, and a touch of caramel maltiness. One of the better pumpkin beers, fairly clean and crisp but it’s still a pumpkin beer...
