4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from the brewery
Cloudy deep blond color, with orange hue; medium sized compact head. Impressive aroma, good work with the hops; pungent (Nelson Sauvin? Mosaic?), tropical; deep, lasting, fresh. Lean body, easy to drink; malt and wheat, vegetables impression; strong citrusy character, tropical fruits, earthy hops; strong bitterness; it has a sharp spicy character too.
Aggressive, very good hop job.

Bomber. Opaque orange yellow, foamy white head settles and fades. Citrus tropical fruity hop aroma. Bitter citrus tropical Kiwi fruity hop taste, interesting lighter blend of pil and wit malt. Average carbonation, medium bodied, more than moderately hopped. Citric and boozy, a bit slick. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Tropical fruit, lemon, grass and some herbal sweet yeast. Huge hit of boozy light tropical fruits, lemon, a bit of bitterness and a sweet boozy finish. Surprisingly all the alcohol works well with the sweetness of this beer. I donít like it as much as some others here, but it is good and I would give it a try.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from 650mL bottle. Light, golden yellow with white head. Aroma is musky, grassy hops, and some grapefruit and pine. Flavour same, hops arenít overpowering, alcohol is hidden, very well balanced. Oily texture, medium body. Easily my favourite from Parallel 49.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
650ml bottle. This is incredible! Big juicy pineapple aroma. Good hop bitterness. Perfect balance. Lighter-bodied, without sacrificing substance or flavour. Highly quaffable despite the neaky-high alcohol content.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Lasting foamy white head and a clouded orange body. Nose of coriander, green leaf, nice bitter hops. Wonderful orange peel, Belgian yeast, minor marmalade zip. This stuff is great! If Lighthouse really isnít going to make Belgian Black or White again, this would be a wonderful replacement.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
650mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small medium white head. Aroma brings dry piney hops and some dry citrus skins. Flavour brings out loads of dry citrus skins, piney hops, a bit of floral notes, and just enough dry crackery malt to back. Really dry without any residual sweetness, not any astringency. This stuff is exceedingly drinkable. Definitely one of Parallel 49ís best.
