Just a good ol’ beer, made with grains, yeast and hops. Beats all you ever drank, been a double IPA since the day it was born.

22 oz bottle from Appalachian Vintner shared with drsordr. Pours a hazy dark golden color with a large off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted grainy malts, resin, some pithy fruit character, at the beginning it had stronger alcohol notes, they settled down as it warmed a bit, sweetness grows, just a bit strange overall.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour avg gold with large white head. Nose very faint toffee and fruity dank hop. Taste mild bitter up front, then some sweet malt, but overriding flavor of rubbing alcohol. Some sweet and wheat malt and mild peppery spice. I just can’t get past the medicinal alcohol flavor.

Bottle. Poured a pale hazy yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is citrus/grapefruit, pine. Taste is sweet grapefruit and pine with a hint of citrus tartness. Finishes with floral, resin hoppy notes and a faint bitterness. The 9.2% ABV is hidden well.

This isn’t an IPA or a DIPA... it is a sweet balanced beer. I want my IPA a little off balance. But after drinking this you may be. Easy drinking malty sweet. A good thick easy drinking beer but not an IPA.

Tap at RNH, Nyc. Hazy orange color, decent off-white head. Aroma has pineapple, citrus and resin. Medium-bodied. Lots of pine and resin and tropical fruits in the flavor. Nice mix of bitterness and fruityness. Good one.

Ok. A little too much caramel and a little unbalanced. Pours orange with ok head and lacing. Finishes on the sweet side and not quite enough hops to lift this through. Syrupy consistency. Tap at Rattle N Hum.
