Quinten (1047) - zaandam, - APR 22, 2010
At an Surinam shop in Zaandam, bottle 330ml, Djogo stout bottle, very dark brown, medium head, much to sweet for an stout, more like an oud bruin, little bitter and dark fruits, not much like an stout.

Borresteijn (4732) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 5, 2012
33cl Bottle from a Surinam toko, as Djogo Stout. BB Dec ’11. Black colour, dense brown head. Aroma is sweet, liquorice, port wine, very malty, dark fruits, brown sugar, alcohol. Flavour is overly sweet, loads of sugar, malts, liquorice, light roasted finish. Soft mouthfeel. Way way way too sweet.

Countbeer (4483) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2011
Bottle: Small brownish head on top of a dark to black colored beer. Smell some roasted malts, sweets, pretty nice smell. Taste is sweeter than smell: brown sugars, roasted malts, some darker fruits. Sweet aftertaste. Not bad but a bit too sweet.

Bottle as Djogo stout. Brownish black pour, thin head. Aroma is very malty, sugary and sweet. Flavour is very sweet with sugar, caramel. Comments about Fernandez were made. Way too sweet for me.

Bottle labeled "Djogo Stout", thanks for sharing dEnk! Pours a pitch black with a tan lacing head. Aroma of lots of sugar, some licorice, coffee and fruits. Flavor is very sweet and slightly bitter in the end. Quite ok but a little too sweet and a watery texture.

NoiZe (2324) - Amersfoort, NETHERLANDS - SEP 10, 2009
Had the "Djogo Stout". Nice old skool design. Black colored brew. Sweet, burned aroma. Flavor is sweet, tastes a lot like cola, some burned malts and brown sugar. Overall not too bad, reminds me of vacations far away. Too sweet though.

bierkoning (10265) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - APR 24, 2009
Bottled as "Djogo Stout". Deep dark brown color, almost opague. Molasses in the aroma. Very sweet and thin, with notes of grapes, brown sugar and chalk. Lacks quality in the ingredients used.

goozen (2970) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2009
Bottle 0,33ltr: Drunked this one under its "Djogo"name. But this is probarly the best beer from Suriname. Black colour very sweet, similar like othe Carribean Stouts.
