harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Aug 7, 2006 This is a huge beer, almost to the point of being like some high gravity macro lagers. Has a kind of simple flavor, doughy with a bit of grassy hops. Some strange fruitiness and finishes with a bit of spice. Odd...
hopscotch (4386), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jan 11, 2008 Bottle… Clear amber lager with a small, fizzy, vanishing white head. An easy pour left lots of muck in the bottle. The nose consists of sorghum, palmetto honey, toffee and medicinal alcohol. Full of unlikely, unfortunate and unidentified esters and phenols. Full-bodied with soft carbonation. Boozy and sweet with light molasses. Not much in the way of hop bitterness, but there’s a touch from the ethanol. Warming, bittersweet finish. RSRIZZO (954), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 26, 2007 Had this beer on 9/9/2002. Aroma is a mild malt scent and is a lighter scent than the regular Boom. Color is a nice gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is mild and sweet. Starting with a light medium body it goes down with a crisp refreshing feel. Finish is a light malt flavor with a strange sweetness that you can taste the alcohol in. The lable states that this is a Malt Liquor. It fits the category of a Malt Liquor and as such its the best one I’ve had. I am not a big fan of Malt Liquors, because most of they suck, but this is a very drinkable beer. I would like to note that it does feel lighter and more refreshing than the regular Boom but is a bit sweeter. hair-old (126), Bloomington, Minnesota, USA Mar 8, 2006 At 8% alc/vol this brew packs a wallop

Some light grassy hops. Somewhat thick in feel. Odd yeast flavors that make this seem like a keller brew. Pale malt, light fruit and a spicy alcohol component. Yet another in a rather long line of european strong lagers.
