Aug 15, 2008 Very dark brown with a lasting light brown head. Rich malty aroma with toffee and licorice. Roasted sweet flavour with burnt toffee notes. Clean and somewhat metallic feel.

Aug 15, 2008 bottle at home ... brought back from RBESG08 ... deep brown with just a little red .. light fruity malts ... very sweet fruity malts ... little toffee ... little sugery ... nice enough little chocolate and tiny hint of coffee but even for someone who like sweet beers, this is too sugery for me and im suprised it scores so high.

Aug 9, 2008 (6/25/08) Bottle at friends’ apartment in Prague. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, some cocoa and notes of coffee and alcohol. Sweet roasty flavor with caramel, some cocoa and some light notes of alcohol. Medium-bodied. A decent Baltic Porter.

Aug 3, 2008 (Draught) Pours dark brown to black with red hints. The aroma is caramelly with tones of grain, a tiny roast and some honey sweetness alongside light metallic and dark bready hints. The flavour is of caramel, grain, brown sugar and dark bread with some light roasted and light dark fruity hints. The mouthfeel is light tart, dry and maybe a bit hard. The finish is tart and dry. Medium to full bodied.
