COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with Louisiana sugarcane! A new Louisiana tradition in the works. Crisp and easy to drink, this sparingly hopped American wheat focuses attention on the understated sweet remnants of sugarcane.

Tap. Pours hazy golden amber with creamy off-white head. Aroma is cookie and caramel malts, dates, floral notes, and light brown sugar. Flavor is sweet, bready malts forward with dark fruit esters, faint floral hops, and faint mixed nuts; lightly sweet finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

This beer is not too strong in flavor but it does taste good. My girlfriend really loves it. I like it after cutting the grass when you are just looking for a refreshing drink. I also think its much better on tap than in the bottle...

Stale malts, wheaty, too much carb. Sweet; can def taste the cane sugar. Appearance fails for a wit. Meh.

12 oz bottle. (Marcello’s Wine Market) Lafayette, LA.
Clear reddish golden colour with a small white head. Wheat, cookie sweetness and mild hops in the aroma. The flavour is rather mild. There’s some wheat, sweetness and... not much more. Unfortunately a bit boring. American Wheat Ale ain’t my thang.

Pours a hazy golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves great lace. Aroma is heavy wheat and bready grain. Taste follows with a nice biscuit sweet finish. Not bad, but nothing special.

Tap, NOLA International Beer Festival 2012. Pours a slightly hazy gold body with a minimal white fizzy head. The nose is fairly light with some minimal hoppiness and a good amount of sweetness on the nose from the sugarcane. The flavor is a little sweet for my tastes, decent wheat base, a light perfume like hoppiness. Medium bodied with a slight cling on the finish. Not bad, but it paled in comparison to the other version that they were serving at the festival that was run through a Randall full of fresh Citra hops.
