I frequently enjoy this beer. Find it to be much more enjoyable from tap than in the bottle.
Definitely maintains a sweet flavor, but (particularly when served on tap) there’s a notable taste of herbs that doesn’t linger for very long.
People who appreciate lighter-colored beer should certainly give this one a shot.

On tap at...a bar on Frenchman (it all kind of blurs together after a while). Pours hazy and a little on the dark side of amber. Very doughy aroma. Sweet, biscuity flavor with a decent hit of citrus. Refreshing enpugh.

Pint on tap at New Orleans Food & Spirits in Metairie. Hazy darkish gold with a ring of cream. Nose is sweet with caramel and sorghum. Tastes like Sugar Babies candy with a bit of dry grass and toasted grain at the finish. Medium carbonation with a sweetness bordering on cloying, but went decently well with some gumbo and a Po’ Boy.

On tap at Cooter Brown’s New Orleans. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet sugar, and wheat malt. Flavor of bready malt with some lemon, light fruits, and sweet sugar in the finish. Sweet, not the best wheat ale, but it is ok
