hughie (2278), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Nov 2, 2007 Tunnel brew this bitter for the Parkland Wine Company, where I bought this bottle. The proprietor confirmed its origin. Judging by the label, the ’oval’ of the title refers to three forms of racing on oval tracks: motorcycle speedway, short track stock car racing and greyhound racing. Apparently it will be available at such events. The beer itself is one of Tunnel’s better efforts. Amber with a small off white head. Malty aroma with something citric lurking. Big, chewy malt taste and good bitter finish. It’s pretty good.
