A citrusy NZ hopped aroma featuring a hint of roasted malt is supported by full-bodied, red coloured malt base and a pleasant NZ hopped bitterness to round off. A big, malty red ale uplifted with a generous amount of hops.

the Orange aroma shocks the nose every time, the nice amount of bittery hops is nice, and Id easily go aonother, and I think this would fit will with some tasty food, as it would bring something to the deal.

Very hoppy US style ale. Kind of similar to brewdogs Old Pony Club I think (the best of BDs range imo). Nice balance of malt and citrus sharp hops.

Poors a very nice clear dark copper. Aroma is of slight fruity hops and roasted grain. Taste is nice full body with a smooth but lingering bitterness. Tasty crisp filling beer.

Shared a tasting (Thanks Eric!). Clear copper with a small white head. Huge mango nose with some pineapple, peach and papaya. Juicy tropical fruit with some light caramel and toffee as it warms up on the palate. Nice bitterness, but not overly so but a very hoppy amber. Crisp and clean finish. Excellent amber.

Pours nice clear reddy brown with tan head. Aroma is citrusy, hints of caramel and smoke. Taste is caramel, grapefruit, some dark sugar, hint of licorice. Bitterness is moderately high. Medium body, light carbonation. Overall full flavoured amber ale, possibly a little heavy and high abv for a session ale but well worth a try.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique September 2013. Nice full bodied Amber ale with nutty and biscuit malt aroma. Just the slightest hint of sweetness in the flavour. Sits in the mouth well.

deep murky golden brown with an enduring head, the aroma is malty roasted spicey citrus, similar flavours combine really well, finishing with an ideal tasty bitter hoppyness

Aroma of roasted malts, copper-red creamy large head which settled and lasted, hoppy and malty flavous of caramel and grass with a mild bitter aftertaste, medium body smooth easy drinking ale, very good.

330mL bottle BB 16/02/14 Reddish amber body, slight haze, big off-white foam. Good nose to it; biscuity, toffee, nutty malts with unripe tropical fruits, melons, resiny leaves and pepper hop character. Full body, moderate carbonation, slightly oily texture. Delivers a solid dose of nutty, biscuity malt paired well with plenty of spicy, leafy green fruit hops. Firm bitterness on dry finish. Nice NZ style Amber

It really tastes more like an IPA to me, maybe let it warm in your hand for a while to let the malt flavours come through.

Pours dark red with some beige, fine head. Nose is grapefruit peel, pineapple, grass, slight toffee. Flavor is quite hop forward. Lots of grapefruit peel, pine resin, bit of passionfruit, toffee, bread. Finish is lots of bitter grapefruit, slight sweetness. Carbonation is a touch on the low side, but I think it works well with the medium to heavy body. Not bad.
