330 ml bottle thanks to Ingo! Bottled 12/08/2013. Sampled on February 11, 2014.

Clear copper color, smallish white head. Sweet, oak, wood, fruity, alcohol scent. Sweet, wood, oak, alcohol taste. Warming. Sweet aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.
Smell is to dominated by oak alnd alcohol, works much better in the taste. Mouthfeel is way to fizzy, detracts from the overall experience.

Taste is sweet with caramel, honey, toffee and some citrusy piney bitterness. Medium silky body with soft carbonation. Quite sweet and good, with very few booze notes. Nice

worldbeertaste (1693) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2014
Hazy amber with a white, lacy lasting, frothy head. Smells of alcohol, fruit, melon, fruit, and caramel. Medium to full oily body. Tastes of sweet toasted malt, with fruit, caramel, and a dry bitter cherry liquorish finish. Not bad. A bit of alcohol is noticeable. Not bad. I think I prefer the regular one.m

Bottle at Dadsgiving, from the brewery, 24/11/13. Lightly hazed amber with a good sized off white covering. Nose is dark fruits, whisky tang, toffee, booze, light spice. Taste comprises dark pitted fruits, cake mix, boozey tones, whisky soaked woodness, pinch of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light booze in the finale. Decent enough BW but perhaps a little young, ageing may benefit this one.
