bottle Rehills Newcastle. Pours hazy amber. Fantastic woody fresh pine aroma, medium dry palate with a subtle warmth, becomes smooth & creamier with progress. A hint of spirit creeps in towards the back of the throat late on, with orange flavours becoming more obvious. Really good IPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Wow, this is hitting the spot in every way. A real beauty. I feel privileged to be rating this first. A lovely bitter smack around the face. Im also winning 9-8 in a game that both of us are playing.

Hazy amber beer, good off white head. Airy palate, a little soft. Light fine minerally carbonation. Lovely hops! Floral tangerine with lesser lemon and peel. Underneath is airy creamy malt. Light dry finish with mild peel bitterness. Great tasty IPA.

Bottle 28 March 2013. I dunno if this is just because it was the first beer of a holiday weekend but I enjoyed this awful lot. Lovely resinous nose and satisfyingly dry hop blast. This young brewery gets better with each batch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Leighton (18719) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2013
Bottle at home in London - sourced from the brewery. Pours lightly hazy gold with a moderate, foamy white head. The aroma holds lots of juicy, pithy citrus, some pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, lots of sweet, borderline syrupy citrus fruits, some pine needles, bready pale malts, grapefruit, mild dry tangerine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with lots of juicy, ripening citrus fruits, orange, tangerine, some mango, some sticky pine, hints of minerals and yeast. Very drinkable IPA with great citrus character, but it could be better if a little drier.

Bottle from a trade with madmitch76. Pours hazed dark golden with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma of some musty, fruity and minty hops. Taste is moderate sweet, nutty malts, soon overshadowed by great fresh hops, herbal and oranges, tangerine and mint. Lingering dry minty finish, very good IPA.
