330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Bottled 13.12.2013 - Pours clear golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of fruits, citrus, floral notes, yeast and crisp caramely notes. Taste is smooth, foamy and slightly stuffy with some notes of yeast, floral hops and grass. Finish is carbonated, foamy and musty with some floral hoppiness and yeasty notes. A bit unbalanced.

Fare thee well Josh tasting at Bruce’s. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Palate is airy and light. Mild fine carbonation. Floral start with mild orange citrus. Light spice. Light dry finish. Bit shaken up possibly, need to try a clean one.

15th April 2014
Lemon sherbet and light citrus. Mellow bitterness and a touch of hop spice. Not shaken up this one but still a 3.6

Bottle shared in London for my farewell drinks. Probably my second last Partizan thanks to Leighton. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite yeasty and floral with lemon and citric dust. Taste is lemon tang, more floral notes and some spice. Quite dry and lively. Average

330 ml bottle.
Pours a beautiful cloudy golden colour with a massive white foamy head. Aroma of fresh citrus, herbal notes, biscuit and heavy grassiness. Rich flavour of citrusy bitterness, some yeast, herbs, grass and mild caramel sweetness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a bitter, citrusy, dry finish. Great.

Bottle shared to celebrate Josh leaving the Big Smoke. Picked up at Utobeer. Pours hazy, matte yellow with a creamy, white head. The aroma has rindy lemon, melon, dry pale malts. Light sweet flavor with flinty minerals, lemon rind, light hay. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Semi-dry finish with moderate rindy bitterness, pithy citrus, light sweetness from the pale malts. Pretty dry. Tasty though not especially flavorful.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours cloudy pale gold with a medium white head. The nose is fresh, piney, nettles, soapy citrus, grapefruit, salt and urine. The taste is crisp, minerals, pine, orange rind, nettles, grapefruit and mild astringency with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Solid APA, but far from their best.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Pale hazy gold with a lasting white head. Lemon and citra nettle cat pee aroma. Good in mouth, full and frothy and lovely. Good light citrus finish. Finesse. Just amazing. Love these beers.
