Bottle at home, from Realale.com, 14/09/13. Happy to have tracked this one down at last ! Almost clear light goldenwith a good sized froty off white head. Nose is light grapefruit, juicy hops, touch of mango, faint soapy backnote. Taste comprises juicy hops, light pine, orange pith, mineral bite, mango, graefruit, toasted malts. Medium bodied, a little overcarbonated and prickly on the palate which lets the overall drinkability down a little. A really decent APA - just a litte overcarbonated for my liking.

Bottle from Rehhils, Newcastle. This is a cloudy yellow-white coloured beer with sharp citrus and tropical fruit flavours, sweet fruity and honey notes and elderflower on the creamy earthy finish. Bottle Conditioned.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of crisp fruity hops, citrus, lemon, resin and exotic fruits. Taste is hoppy, lingering bitter and fruity with notes of exotic fruits, biscuity malts and citrus. Finish is grassy, bitter and hoppy with crisp fruits and citrus. A bit stuffy, but tasty pale ale.

33 cl bottle. Bottled on 16.05.2013. BBE 16.09.2013.
Pours pale copper-golden color with a large head. Aroma of floral hops, citric fruits, some pale malts and hints of toffee. Flavor of grass, citric fruits, goose berries and mild resin. Slick palate, bitter fruity finish. Straightforward and refreshing. Nice.

Very pale yellow, almost a wheaty swatch of body with a bloated puff of white head. Big dried lemon, straw and almost Saison itch to the nose. Faint stewed pee later. Bombastic pale malts with a bitterness and sugary scrapes of lemon rinsed with pineapple syrup cloying hop. Wee nudge of carbonation see saws the maltiness along, to a daisy cutter fresh finish and a pissy pith linger.

330 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy bright yellow colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, grapefruit and sweet fruits. Flavour is very well balanced with crispy floral hops, grapefruit, mango, grass, juicy pineapple, white grapes, herbs and mellow sweetness. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Drinkability couldn’t be better. Excellent balance and this happens to be one of my favourite hop profiles. Partizan rules.

330ml bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Pale yellow body, unclear. Lasing white lacing-head. Inviting aroma of peaches and mango. Fresh flavours of tropical fruits on a backbone of pale malts. Grapefruit bitterness to the ending. A pretty nice one (shared with Richard and Stefan, University of Leeds 01.07.2013).

330ml bottle. Filmy to cloudy golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Superb citrusy fruity hop aroma has notes of pineapple, grapefruit, mandarine. Taste is minimally dry, fruity hoppy, notes of pineapple, grapefruit, mandarine, a minimally chalky, metallic, mineral touch. Very drinkable, light, refreshing. Excellent stuff.

Aroma: Stunning aroma - grapefruit, lemon, orange, pale malt and a hint of flowery soap.

Appearance: Hazy pale golden body with a medium white head. Light carbonation. Good lacing.

Taste: A lovely ’fruit salad’ beer - sharp lemon, sweet tangerine and tangy lime. Powerful flavours but the overall taste is still light fresh.

Palate: Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation.

Overall: A fantastic American Pale Ale - one of the best I’ve tried. Simcoe and Citra are two of my favourite hops.
