3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33cl bottle from the brewery. It pours clear light golden with a minimal white head. Aroma is intensely hoppy and all on the fruity sweet-ish side of the coin. No piny notes but strong apricots and pineapple. Taste is quite sweet for an APA as well but intense bitter at the same time and well balanced. More fruit comes through alongside some resiny and biscuity notes. Medium bodied with silky texture and low carbonation. Very balanced and refreshing.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange yellow, medium frothy white head fades with little lacing. Pine needles, touch of grapefruit, waxy, herbal resinous nose. Soft and herbal, slight touch of soft orangey fruits, lots of fresh grassy flavours, slightly musky, slightly minty, moderate lasting bitter finish. Pleasant enough.

The gentlest of the Partizans I’ve had. Yes, a little clementine in there. Duck and Cover has a whole new meaning. With great force.
