33cl bottle, label says 5.7%. Bottled on 17/05/2013. Huuge gusher, some of it went down the sink, mansges to save 2/3 of the bottle. 15 minutes later... Black colored, thick light brown head. Hmm, aroma is very similar to many De Molen stouts I have tried. Coffee, mocha, roastedness, yeast. Flavor has coffee, chocolate, licorice, yeast. Very smooth as the foam finally settles and the most of the carbonation out of the way. Quite thin though.

Ragnampiza (219) - ITALY - MAR 18, 2014
330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a nonic pint glass. Slow gusher. Dark brown, can’t see through with lots and lots of floaties, with a light brown head. Lovely aroma, lots of dark fruits, coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, some vanilla, cinnamon and sour black cherries. Taste follow suite, slightly sour, quite full of flavour, chocolaty and a bit smoky. Toasted and coffee forward aftertaste. Average carbonation, light to medium body, creamy/oily texture. Solid.

Quite sweet with burnt coffee from the malt. A little watery in texture. Traditional porter.

Bottle at home from sourced market? Aroma is woody, earthy, oak and hint of whiskey. Some hint of berries and chocolate in the nose as well. Opaque dark amber coloured pour with a thin lasting greyish tan head. Flavour is sweet caramel, berry, and ashy roast. Thinnish palate with finish that just disappears and leaves an ashy taste. Not a great deal to this one. Disappointing.

330ml bottle from Ales By Mail. Black, very lively, massive foamy head. Toasted coffee treacle malt aroma. Sweet coffee flavour. Watery with sweet aftertaste. Decent enough but not outstanding.

BeerViking (2084) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2013
Bottle, pours deep dark brown with a fast settling head, nose is roasty coffee, toffee and something vinous and faintly tart. Mid-bodied, palate follows the nose with more roast coffee, touches of treacle, a faint earthy spicy note, a burnt bitterness and a touch of dark bitter chocolate and soy in the finish. Delicious.

BlackHaddock (3183) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2013
330ml Bottle at Les Crêpes de Sophie in Shrewsbury on 19th Dec 13. Huge head came at me as I tried to pour the beer into a stemmed tulip: tan coloured foam on a dark, dark brown body that took a long time to settle, looked good once it had calmed down. Malts all over the place: slightly over roasted with ground coffee and dark bitter chocolate in both the aroma and taste. A good all round Porter with enough flavour to keep you interested and test your taste buds. The body sat nicely within the overall package and hid the alcohol with ease, very pleasant indeed.

Bottle at home from ales by mail
super lively, lost 2/3 of the beer to the kitchen side :(. Dark chestnut tinged mahogany with a fluffy tan head. Fairly sweet, molasses, leather, caramel, dry finish.
