Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass at 13 degrees Celsius: Small beige head, close to black beer. Aromas of some roast, coffee, some hay, malt roast, hints of smoke and sweet tar. Flavours of coffee, malts, light malt roast, light chocolate tone, some grain roast, subtle bitters... Nice porter and easy drinker... Aftertaste of coffee, bitter, hay and malt roast and some slight hints of chocolate. Low carbo, light watery light creamy mouthfeel, good medium bodied. Easy drinker, nice stuff.

Fra flaske på Bishops Arms, Kiruna 12 Des 14. Svart kjempehøyt luftig skum som står som betong. Aroma av sjokolade & lakris. Behagelig smak. Mest sjokolade. Blir vel søt - men god.

Backlog rating. 33cl bottle at the brewery tap room, London. It pours dark brown with ruby edges. Foam is thin, with large beige bubbles. Aroma is quite light and sweet-ish. Some roasted malts but more chocolate notes. Taste is more deep and robust with chocolate and espresso, some roast and a general sweetness cut through by a very decent acidity. Body is quite thin and carbonation is light, maybe too much to me. Overall, a tasty porter

330ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, chestnut colour with average to huge, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, biscuity, minimally grainy, hints of Marmite, a touch of ammonia. Taste is grainy, chocolately dark malty, minimally tart, fruity hints of raisin and stored apple; relatively lively carbonation. Not fully harmonious.
