26th January 2013 Opaque black - brown beer, good cream - tan head. Palate is slightly soft. Mild minerals. Tangy dark malts, medium strength. Tiny bit of roast and a whispers of coffee and lactose. Finishes fairly neutral with a pinch of ash. Decent porter but lacks the wow factor of the Stout.
