Wygląd: Drobno i średnio ziarnista, puszysta, dość wysoka piana. Opada powoli z ogromnym lacingiem. Barwa piwa - czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Zostawia czekoladowy posmak.

1.2.2015. Nose has tangy malts, ash. Taste has this same very tangy malty ashy taste. I dont like it at all. Either sth was wrong or then it really has something which makes me not want to drink it at all.

33cl bottled bottled 07/2014, courtesy of tderoeck, merci! @5,6% Bit of a challenge to find the right abv batch among these... Gratifying black steel & ash pour, quite fizzy, spurting forth black roast, ash, bitter chocolate powder, crust, unroasted coffee bean. Bit too thin for my porter likes, would like the aromas to translate and linger in taste longer, Fuller’s style. Good bitterness, harsh burnt peel - postmodern porter in that way.

Bottled, 330ml from Leamington Wines, Leamington Spa, Warks. Very dark brown with cream, explosive, head. This had a bit of a lactic, chocolatey note initially with a baked graininess, roasty note. Some sweetness in the close. Acceptable.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2014 Bottle. Simple brown appearance. Quite malty, sweet caramel sugaryness, but I was also surprised by a touch of hops.

On IP trade with Theydon_Bois (thanks a lot man!!). Brown color, the shitty looking one, light brown head. Aroma is toast, caramel, toffee, some chocolate. Same on the taste. Medium body with medium carbonation.

At BBF 14. I assume its this one since its the most rated version . What a crappy, unclear label ... Pours unclear brown , no head, Smell is chocolaty , taste is bitter, bit sweet. Creamy, lactic . OK

Burgers (334) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 7, 2014
How do I hate thee? Shall I count the ways? Horrible label. Open the bottle and it gushes. Unless you have a pint pot handy you’ll lose half of it. Eventually very dark brown with dirty, frothy tan head and mucho sediment. The nose is slightly lactose. Taste medium sweet, light bitter. Could have been a 3.8 without the gushing or with a decent warning and a better label. As it is ...

yngwie (15191) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 8, 2014
Bottle. A gusher, leaving only 6-7 cl of beer in the bottle after popping the cap. It’s dark brown, unclear, and with a small, beige head. The aroma is roasted, almost charcoal-ish, with some grass, cooked vegetables and pine cones. Roasted malts, charcoal, grass and cooked vegetables in the flavor, some bitterness chiming in. Lasting finish. Not an impressive one, terribly gushing, but sort of honest. 140608
