Draught at the brewery in London. Hazy golden beer, almost no head. Grassy hop aroma, ginger. Flavor is more or less all about ginger. Too much.

Draft - Sweet ginger and light grass. Cloudy yellow gold with a good white head. Bright ginger, effervescent and a little spice. Refreshing, but too much ginger vs other flavors.

Tap at the brewery. All ginger, although not in your face. Light and airy. Less exciting than the previous one and a touch underwhelming.

Keg at the brewery, 26/07/14. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a moderate off white swirl atop the glass. Nose is spice, gingerisms, straw, lemon rind, herbal whiff. Taste comprises grass, citric sherbets, ginger snap biscuit, bitter orange, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close crisp and clean. Decent ginger infused saison.

On keg in Craft Beer Co Holborn/Covent Garden. Won’t beat around the bush as this is a pretty simple and straightforward pale saison with some nice hints of ginger. Very pale amber, white head. Nose is saison yeast, lemon and fresh ginger root. Taste as above. Light, pale, refreshing, with restrained yeast, malt and body.

Craft Holborn. Keg. Lightly hazy gold beer, small white head. Light dry palate, mild fine carbonation. Lights malts. Nice floral ginger, no heat but there is a touch of bitterness. Light dry finish. Simple but pleasing.

Keg at CBC Covent Garden. It pours a slightly hazy golden colour with 1 finger of white soapy head. Aroma is fresh and hoppy, quite zesty with notes of lemon and ginger. Taste is similarly light bitter with some floral hops and grass, some yeasts and bread, little in the way of funk. The citrusy and gingery notes come out quite a lot. Good

Scopey (7054) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2014
Keg at Partizan. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is fresh ginger, lemon, light graininess, mild tartness and lemongrass. The taste is crisp, bitter, tart fruits, lemon peel, floral, spice, dough, graininess and light soap with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Quite a lot like chilled ginger & lemon tea. Refreshing.

Beese (1905) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 15, 2014
Draught at The Euston Tap, London on 11 July. Poured a hazy, pale yellow, with a dense white head and some lacing. Aroma of fresh fruit, spice, cloves and apricot. Mineral flavours, with some lychee and stem ginger. Finish was grass, lemon zest and overall petered out into nothingness.
