3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle from Borough Wines. Initial hint of bubblegum, possibly from the orange and mandarin coming through, light citrus, very light chamomile and a floral, spicy character. Not bad, but certainly not their best Saison.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy off white head. The aroma is big sour citrus fruit. The flavour is medium sour with a watery weak acidic palate. Weak bodied with high carbonation. Fine for a hot summer BBQ, but not a classic.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Another fantastic Saison from Partizan, who in my opinion make the best Saisons in the UK. This has their usual pale golden colour, very clean looking, Good classic saison yeast flavours, with the orange and chamomile subtle and delicious. peppery, grassy, slight citrus tartness. Delicious and refreshing!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home, from Cotteridge Wines, 01/10/13.
Pours a very clear light yellow with a small off white covering, unusual clarity and light in colouration for a saison!
Nose is bitter orange, light perfume, spice, lemon rind, straw.
Taste comprises grass, light spice, orange pith, herbal notes, lemon.
Medium bodied, light spritz on the palate keeping this one moving along.
Drinkable saison but at the lower end of the Partizan spectrum.
