330ml bottle from Borough Wines. Initial hint of bubblegum, possibly from the orange and mandarin coming through, light citrus, very light chamomile and a floral, spicy character. Not bad, but certainly not their best Saison.

Bottle courtsey of Geraint & Helen (thanks you two!) from Wine Rack, Henley on Thames, Oxon, consumed at home on Saturday 2nd August 2014 Pours light gold with a white filmy head, one thing I noted was that quite a lot of brown yeast collected in the neck. A little sweet herbiness on the nose. A touch sweet in mouth with a gentle fruity edge, but a bit thin and watery. I guess a lot of folk would comment on how wonderfully subtle this is but for me mmhh.. not doing a great deal, its ok but seems to be lacking something namely flavour. I sort of view this how I view herbal tea, and I am yet to be convinced by any herbal tea despite my best efforts to embrace them. A5 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.7

yellow body, white head. Aroma has noble hops, bit herbal and light crispy maltiness. Flavour is soft and flat and bit perfume infected. The saison in this is missing.

330 ml bottle. BB 05/08/2014. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Clear pale yellow golden colour with a small white head. Yeast, yeasty bitterness, newspaper and some mild citrus in the aroma. The flavour is some spices, mild hops, mild yeast and mild dry grain. A tad better than the Orange version.

330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a Teku. Bottled on 05-08-2013. Pale light gold/canary yellow, pretty clear, with a small bright white head. The aroma is quite subdued: mainly white bread, cereals, a bit of floral hops and the typical spicy saison yeast smell, earthy and peppery. Some hint of dust/cellar notes as well. Again quite muted and delicate in the mouth, with light spices emerging during the taste, before the orange bitterness can be felt on the lips during the aftertaste. The finish is not very long, and slightly tart and peppery, with a tiny bit of astringency. The body is ligh without feeling watery, and the carbonation is quite lively, as expected. Extremely dry, actually one of the most dry beers recently encountered, which is a feautre that I personally love.. For such a low ABV beer, Id say its very well executed.

Hazy pale blonde, fluffy white lacing, slightly tart citrus peel nose. Full bodied, dry saison yeast, wheat spices, slightly tart note. Fantastic saison but no sign of the chamomile!
