Light haze on this gold beer, decent white head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft. Light minerally carbonation. Mildly bitter yeast. Thin airy malt. Nice citrus - a little orange and a touch of lemon. Finishes semi dry with orange peel providing bitterness.

Leighton (10967) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 27, 2013
Bottle at home in London - picked up at Borough Wines Wilton Way. Pours mostly clear yellow, highly effervescent, with a huge, frothy white head. Delicate dry dough in the nose, plenty of lemony citrus zest, hints of hay. Light sweet flavor with light biscuity pale malts, bitter lemon rind, a bit of spicy yeast, citrus zest. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Clean, moderately dry finish, more delicate and dry doughy pale malts, some bitter citrus rind and straw, slight flinty minerals. Delicious stuff. Effortlessly drinkable. Another winning grisette from Partizan.

Bottle at home, 03/08/13. Lightly hazed golden yellow with a mahoosive white head which thins but retains as a soild covering - looks the bollocks ! Nose is grass, burnt lemon rind, spice, bitter orange, lemon curd, herbal qualities, juicy citrus notes. Taste comprises bitter citric fruit, lemon rind, grass, farmy, light mineral notes, earthy tartened fruit. Lighter end of medium bodied, soft carbonation, light tarte fruit showering at the curtain call. Excellent saison, refreshing and crisp to the end.

Scopey (6812) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2013
Bottle from Partizan. Not to be confused with the citrus edition! It pours pale yellow with a fluffy white head. The nose is dough, orange, sweet tangerine, grapefruit, herbel and spicy notes. The taste is rather peppery, dough, pithy citrus, straw, paper, decent bitterness and faint floral notes with a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. I really like the citra on the nose, but the tastes doesn’t quite live up to it. A rather refreshing beverage nonetheless.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy bright golden colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, strong citrusy notes, wet earth and mild grass. Flavour of strong floral hops, pungent citrusy fruitiness, some yeast, clove, pepperming and grass. Light bodied, high carbonation and a pungent, refreshing, tangy finish. Very refreshing. Good.

Bottle. The pour’s hazy gold with a tight eggshell white head. Big, fragrant nose. Lemon cake, dank grass erupt from the bottle as soon as I break the seal on the cap. Some perfume, rose petal. Sweet honeyed herbs. Very dry and chalky on the palate. Fresh cut flowers and grass. Earthy perfume. Light citrus, lemon poppyseed cake. Hints of tobacco on the chalky finish. Light body, fine carbonation. Overall, wonderful nose, but this is way too dry for my liking. Still, pretty good stuff.
