3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a tulip glass. Bottled on 30-07-2013. Pours a rich golden colour (darker than all the other grisette saison I had), slightly hazy, with a small, frothy, bright white head. Strong herbal aroma upfront, almost medicinal, then freshly cut grass, bread crust, quite spicy and earthy. Immediate tingling on the lips due to a lime/lemon tartness, which works quite well with the same herbal taste. Not much coriander that I can taste, but there is a mild and pleasent bitterness with some little astringency. Light body, almost watery and soft carbonation (again quite different from the others saisons of this series). Dry and extremely drinkable, and while not my favourite from Partizan, I’m quite baffled by the extremely low rating.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at the brewery. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a round bubbly head. The aroma is clear almost alcoholic but it’s not... with yeast and light citrus fruit. The flavour is light sour light bitter with a clean slightly watery nettle aromatic palate. Light bodied with average carbonation.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home from ales by mail
Hazy blonde, offwhite head, slightly metallic herbal nose, medium body, dry, corriander dominates. Not as exciting as some but doesn’t deserve the poor reviews still drinkable.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle purchased from the V&A Museum, London. Poured a light yellow colour with a slight haze and a thin white head. Aroma of sharp citrus, lemon zest and pineapple. Grassy flavours with coriander, melon and a slightly soapy hint. Palate was slightly metallic with some grain and watery orange. A rare Partizan miss, in my opinion...

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
33 cl bottle.
Pours clear copper color with a minimal head. Aroma is spicy and grassy, some faint hop notes. Flavor is quite bland, some hay, faint spice notes and apricot. Watery, stale palate. Can’t really figure what’s the point of this. Worst I’ve had from Partizan.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home, 23/10/13.
Clear golden blond with a thin white covering.
Nose is sharp apple skins, potato peel, earthy, sharp fruit notes, damp hedgerow, decaying orchard.
Taste comprises apple skins, watery orchard fructis, damp straw, hint of spice but generally lacking in flavour.
Light to medium in body, thin and watery, sharp fruit tang in the finish.
I thought I’d had my least favourite Partizan beer already this evening, but this one trumps it.
It is drinkable, but just lacks any depth of flavour or charecter !

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal aroma, unripe mirabelle, unripe pear, apple wood, hints of a mild cleanser. Taste is minimally tart, dry, unripe pear, somehow like grappa without alcohol. Soft palate, flat carbonation, almost insipid.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
33cl bottle. I’m glad I’m not the only one who liked it. It pours a clear golden colour with almost no head and just a tiny ring I white bubbles. Aroma is fruity and sourish, with loads of persimmon and just a hint of coriander and hops. Taste is sweet and a acidic, a tad dry in the finish. Nice fruitiness throughout with again lots of persimmon notes and some peachy hoppiness. Medium to thin mouthfeel with good carbonation. Overall, something was odd with beer, different from the rest of the Grisette series both in appearance and base flavour profile. Anyways, I have to say I like its being strange a lot.
