Nice and easy on the eye wonderful head retention, a very lively beer out if the bottle, though I have to say the orange notes on this particular saison, are hard to detect

From tap @Haand Fest 13. Hazy bright orangey golden body, mid-sized white top. Crisp wheat malt aroma, zesty lemon, spices and yeast. Quite so light-bodied. Dry and fresh. Taste is citrus zest, something floral and spicy, and a mild bitterness throughout. Elegant, and highly drinkable.

On tap @ Haandfest 2013. This is a cloudy yellow dishwater colored beer with a small white head that’s sticking to the sides of the glass. I get both wheat and spices in the aroma. Dried orange zest and something spicy that I’m having a hard time identifying. Smells fresh and nice. The mouthfeel is light and thin and it had a soft carbonation level. Fresh flavors also with lots of citrus going on here. It’s also zesty and wheaty. Really quenchable and sessionable. 25.05.2013

0.33l bottle. A blurry yellow looking body under a lasting big white almost fluffy head. It has a lovely fresh nose, lots of lemony citrus, and citrus fruits, saison yeast, raspberries, wheat. Amazing flavors but a bit thin and watery. On the carbonation it’s lively and it feels somewhat thin almost watery in the mouth. In the taste I get wheat, melon, citrus and mandarin. It’s really sessionable this and I will definitely buy again. A delicious beverage. 29.07.2013

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty acid with a little fresh grass. The flavour is weak lemon acid with a citrus acid malt farmyard palate. A super saison.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours hazy golden with an off white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, citrus, a little grassy and light funky. Flavour is moderate sweet and over bitter moderate bitter with the funkiness turning coming out fairly brettish in the palate. Medium bodied with light fuzzy carbonation. Good saison.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness bottle shop, York. Beautiful looking beer. Hazy, straw colour. Thick, tight, white head. Spicy lemon aroma. Some flinty mineral undertone. Bit of ground ginger too. Taste is flinty dryness. Short, tart finish.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff sep-13: skummet er på vei ut av flaska - her gjelder det å handle raskt! Højt skum også i glasset, med en behagelig fjøslukt. Lys, lett, tørr og passe syrlig -. en god saison!

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Pale golden yellow, massive foamy head. Sour lemon aroma. Yeasty lemon flavour. Bitter sweet lemon aftertaste. Just OK. Not really my thing.
