3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from sourced market st pancreas. Pale translucent yellow, frothy white persistent head. Aroma is dough, orange and wit yeast esters. Flavour is doughy malt, earthy spicy hop. Very dry finish. Refreshing summer beer. Reminds me more of a wit beer than a saison. There is a chalky, dirty hop flavour in the finish that I could do without.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Haand Festival 2012. It’s an unclear, orange-golden beer topped by a dense, small, white head. The aroma has some wheat and pale malt, citrus peel and the unmistakable touch of Belgian saison yeast. Faintly spiced in the far back. The flavor has some bitterness, just enough I think, as it’s quite dry, with citrus peel, pale malts and a little peppery twist. Lasting fruity finish. A very pleasant and quenching one, and it’s at a nice ABV-level as well. 130525

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled from tap at Haandøl 2013. Sparkling hazy golden body with an inch thick creamy off-white head that leaves laces on the glass wall. Black pepper, sandel wood, cardamum and spicy saison yeast notes on the nose. Most of the aromas are also present in the mouth which is fresh and crisp. Most refreshing. Light to medium bodied. Carbonation is wee heavy.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 2, 2013 Rerate, 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Bottled 26.03.2013. ABV is 4.6%. Hazy very pale golden colour, large white head. Rating otherwise the same. Original rating: Sample from bottle at Haand Beer Festival 2013, Drammen. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Strong aroma of saison yeast, but also orange peel and coriander like in a witbier (I don’t know if these two are actual ingredients here). Refreshing flavour, not too sweet, spicy with distinct notes of coriander and cloves, citrus in the background.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Haand Festival 2013. Light golden hazy color, good foam. Good fruitiness, eukalyptus, citrus and floral notes. Medium body & complexity. Very high bitterness and some sourness- which together dominate the beer a bit. Very enjoyable
