3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
[330ml bottle, AlesbyMail] Pours slightly hazy golden amber, with a small, tight white head. The aroma is heavy on the barnyard, funky straw and some yeast. The taste has some of that, but more of the Belgian estery feel to it, some light pineapple and lemon fruit, pepper, a touch of spice. Finish is bitter-sweet and really very good

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma has a gentle lemony note with an earthy spiciness. Flavour adds a gentle malty sweetness and a refreshing bitterness and sharpness. Over all a very good but not outstanding beer. Having trouble finding the spices.....

Very hazy amber beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, crisp and semi dry. Lemon - lime base, mild milky sweetness and a good pinch of black pepper. Trace of perfumed spice. Finishes dry and tangy leaning toward mildly sour. Medium bitterness. Good stuff.
