2014-02-28. Mahogany tinged black body with a small foamy tan head. 3+ Aroma is relatively malty, light roast, muted dark cocoa accents. Flavour is moderately roasty over a sweetish core. Light cocoa touches. Average plus bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Bit simple, and not entirely to my own taste, but still a lovely take on the style and dangerously drinkable for the abv. Black with a nice creamy coffee color head. Aroma of roast and coffee (I could smell that without having to life the cup off the table), chalk, bitter chocolate. Taste very roasty and chocolaty, lots of espresso coming out towards the palate, then a ton of burnt toast. Full palate. Very nice.

330ml bottle from Borough Wines, Stoke Newington. A delicious stout, as always from Partizan. Fairly sweet with raisins, fruit cake, dusty chocolate and lovely smooth malts. Hugely enjoyable and deceivingly strong.
