Bottled 20/12/13. 8.2%. Pours a deep brown/black with a little reddy brown in the light. Fresh, coffee, grassy, clean aroma. Medium body, light to medium carbonation. Bitter espresso, choc, coke, rum... It may still be a bit too cold and Iím being unnecessarily impatient. Anyway, I canít be bothered to go into more detail. itís good.

330ml bottle. Pours very dark brownish black with very firm dark head. The head kept growing and growing. Poured it very carefully. Anyway, nice aroma of coffee, malts, chocolate, molasses and a licorice. Taste is decent. Very full mouth feel. Texture is like like tar. Had to chew it. Loads of molasses. Decent.

Bottle at Cask, London on 13 April 2013. Poured a thick, pitch black colour with a large, dense tan head. Huge, rich aroma of roasted malt, bitter dark chocolate and some liquorice. Wonderful, full creamy mouth feel. Full bodied flavours of bitter coffee, dense fruit cake and dark fruit. Finish was wonderful espresso bitterness mixed with bitter burnt malt, balanced perfectly with black syrup. Wonderful beer.
