Bottle, Kris Wines, London. Poured black as a ravenís wing with a noice tan head. Chocolate coffee and booze in the nose. Lovely creamy smooth mouthfeel. Malts, coffee, chocolate and hops all at the party flavour-wise. Hugely drinkable and the ABV masking is just superb. Cracking stout this.

Bottle brought to tasting by Zero. Poured dark brown, nearly black. Medium head/lacing. Aromas are tasting notes of espresso, roast, char, coffee and malt. Very rich and luxurious body/mouthfeel. Like it.

(Bottle): Pours black with a small tan head. Milk chocolate, coffee, wood, roasty notes in the aroma. Fantastic flavour, loads of smokey/roasty character, coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, slight dark fruits. Smooth body, very drinkable. You would never guess itís 8.6%, absolutely no trace of alcohol. Fantastic.

Short review due to rugby-related excitement/disappointment. Black, small white foamy head. Smell - smoke, chocolate. Body and cabonation are medium. Taste - more smoke and chocolate, semi-sweet, astringent finish. Good beer, enjoyed.

Sampled from a unknown-sized bottle @ Haandfest 2013. This is a near black one, no, letís call it black and it has a nice lacing brown top thatís leaving some islands floating on top of the beer. Lots if dark notes in the aroma. Itís coffee bitter and loaded with chocolate paper! There is even a little bit of licorice here as well. It has a light oily mouthfeel and a average prickling carbonation level. Nice roasted profile all over this. Dark coffee, burned to the max, I get more chocolate paper, a roasted acidity and dark burned cake. Itís leaving the mouth with a dry feeling. Lots of flavor, enjoyable. 25.05.2013
