330 ml bottle.
Pours a pitch black colour with a beige foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, leather, biscuit and chocolate. Flavour is really rich with roasted malts, nuts, biscuit, strong bitterness, coal, pepper and ash. Mellow honey-like sweetness as well. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a long, rich, dry, warming, lingering bitter, tad sweet finish. Balance is as good as it gets. Great stuff!

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2013 Bottle from Borough Wines [Wilton Way]. Black pour with a small, dense and creamy lightly tanned head. Nose shows heavy roast and liquorice, light cocoa powder, biscuit and lightly stewed fruits. Taste is a good balance of mocha tones with light biscuit and molasses. Aniseed is a focus. Alcohol is there but not over the top or hot. Creamy mouth feel with lingering bitterness. Solid as stuff
