A good belgian ale, not too strong not too sugar... I need to retaste it in better condition....

Simple body with an off white head. Light grainy, sweet body, cheesy yet fine yeast and not very pleasant or expressive even. Boring taste, light malty sweetness of cheap bread. (33cl bottle from Cave Gambrinus SPdC)

McWorta (482) - LUXEMBOURG - FEB 27, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2014 Offers a dark yellow golden colour with a frothy white head and good lacing. Noses of light citrus fruits, floral, wet grass and flowers. Lightly fizzy on the palate and a medium body showing a slick texture. The finish is light fizzy and pleasantly lasting. Offering some hints grapefruit dryness at the back of the palate. Good equilibrium in aromas.

Bottle at home. Straightforward, no nonsense blonde. Balanced to the point of having no overpowering flavours. There’s a little sweetness, some hops, toasty malt and citrus fruit. Good session beer, if a little unspectacular.

Bottle at home. Pours dark golden with a medium off white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, light citrus, light grassy and caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate prickly carbonation.

Hazy straw colored beer with a two finger high white head. Smells of mild Belgian yeast notes, some hay, slight bobble gum, and a distinct metallic smell. The taste is of sweet apricots, hay, pale malts and some slight earthy yeast notes. Fruity aftertaste of apricots. An ok beer.

golden, off-white head. nose: malts, bit unfresh but not too harming for the nose, yeast, smells very traditional. taste: malts, bit filthy, metallic, earthy. Dry, bitter with a sweet finish. overall: traditional blond, could do better, typical blond beer of an older belgian brewery unable to evolve.
