3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. A slightly hazy light orange coloured beer with an attractive and fairly large whitish head. The aroma is lemony citrus and peppery but quite light. The taste is more of the same. It’s got everything you would expect from a light Belgian Ale together with some floral flavours; and everything is subtle and subdued. I liked it.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330ml bottle from BeersOfEurope. Fairly dull really. Lacks sparkle and interest. A reasonably dry pale ale with light flowery and orange citric notes. Faint lactic quality adds some interest.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
I barely remember this beer malty and notes of fresh fruits and spices. Will have to have again some day. Page 352 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide only 300 of his 500 Classic Brews to go.

Bottle. Pale yellow, cloudy. Aroma has some candyish malt. Yeasty flavor with some complexity but with a cloying sweetness.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Draught at Beer Weekend, Brussels. If I hadn’t actually seen it poured would have thought I was given a shandy. Pale yellow with lots of sediment. No head. Citrus in both taste and smell. Bubbly. Was a fitting first beer but not quite as good as the Piraat shandy I made once.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I had no expactations for this, thought this would be a Leffe clone, but this was really interesting. Big firm head, gold colour. Spicy and fruity aroma, spicy and malty palate with a balanced finished. Underrated imo

Bottled. Hazy light yellow in colour. It has a yeasty and wheaty aroma. The flavour is bitter and wheaty. There is a sweet alcohol like taste to it as well.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Beer Mania. Smells dank and skronky. Cloudy gold with generous living white head. Coriander and sugar evident, but smells alive and refreshing. A little bitter, mettalic, slightly sweet, weird balance, dry, plenty of coriander. Not bad, not too excellently distinctive either. A little chewy.
