#692 Ebenholzfarbenes Bier mit schnell verflogenem Schaum. Ein leicht röstiges Aroma. Im Antrunk kräftig würzmalzig, bleibt im Geschmack auch ziemlich eindimensional würzig, um dann im Abgang leicht lakritzartig auszuklingen. Durchschnittliches Bruin, dass gegen Bruin-Ikonen wie Grimbergen und Leffe keine Chance hat!! Test vom 12.3.2011, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,9,9,8,9,9 - 9,05

Bouteille: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, visible carbonation, stable and creamy off-white head, sweet roasty and caramelly nose, toffeees, chocolate and dried fruits detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; sweetish, a bit slim, toasty-vinous finish. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all very pleasant...

Dark chestnut colour with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of dried fruit and caramel. Sweet yeasty and nutty flavour with a touch of fruit. Plain, but decent belgian brown

33cl @ Delirium Monestarium. Acajou, col épais beige crémeux. Arôme est malté fruité noirs allant vers la prune, cara fin. Palais, fruité noir pointe de mélasse?, raisin/prune voire cerise, malt léger et fruité avec une pointe de grillé et ce fruit laisse une brève note aigre sur la fin avec un léger côté sucré..

Clear brown beer, small beige head, unstable, non ahdesive. Aroma: caramel, chocolate, dried fruits, ripe banana, touch of mocha. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: milk chocolate, sweet malts, red fruits, little sourish touch, caramel. Aftertaste: little yeasty, banana, caramel, floral touch.

33 cl. bottle @ Kulminator // dark brown with a hint of black & creamy off-white / beige head // smells like creamy sweet malts & dark fruits, brown sugar, nuts, hint of liquorish // taste is hint of caramel, creamy sweet malts, dark fruits, liquorish, caramel, sweet, brown sugar, creamy nuts, hazel, dash sweeter spices in the finish, soft bread // body is creamy with mellow carb. // the rating may not be ecstatic but I think that this is really, really good one within the style

Dark brown with a medium tan head. Malty with fruity notes. Malt, fruit and caramel. Medium body with a nice bitter sweet finish.
