Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with estery and flowery notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, complemented by sweetish, fruity and malty notes and touches of citrus and yeast. Bitter and citric aftertaste with estery hints. Well balanced and nice and but not top notch.

Couleur jaune orangée, légère mousse blanche. Nez fruité (fruits jaunes, mirabelle, banane) et levure belge. Gout malté, fruité, raisin, levures, agrumes. Corps moyen. Petites épices en fin de bouche. Simple triple belge sur le coup, mais en fait bien bonne , assez complexe et intense, nickel.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A sparkling golden orange beer with yellow hues at the bottom of my glass ; few bubbles ; medium white head with a poor retention. Fruity aroma (citrus), light herbal, alcohol. Medium sweet and medium dry bitter. Medium body, silky texture, good carbonation, short dry bitter finish with a warming note. Overall, a good belgian tripel : bitter background, balanced taste and palate.

One of the more recent additions to the range, though probably a derivative of their Egmont Tripel. A stereotypical malty tripel, hazy blond, with fruity esters and a mild bitterish, grassy hoppy finish. Standard but good.

33 cl bottle poured into a tulip. Very little aroma, sweet and slightly bready. Nice appearance, dark blonde with a large white head. Taste is initially sweet, with a dry bitterness following. Medium palate with soft carbonation and a short bitter finish. Overall not bad and more bitter than some tripels, but lacking in depth overall.

(Pater Lieven Tripel) Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass, ABV 8% Golden yellow colour on the body, tall white and frothy head, with good retention though. Spots of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is malty, with sugars and alcohol, faint fruity notes. Taste is sweet, some malts, yeast, apricot, sugar, not as fruity as I expected. Medium thin body, high carbonation. Mediocre, even the Blond was better.
