Good to drink on a hot day. Otherwise itís a bit plain and unoriginal. Had it all before I guess.

One of the newer Pater Lievens, a refreshing wit with cloudy straw blond colour and wheaty, sourish aroma, some coriander, bit fruity and a bit metallic. Fruity taste (some vague banana), fresh lemon peel sourishness, some coriander, soft, thin mouthfeel and thin body especially in the finish. Does not add anything to the witbier puddle.

Bottle 33 cl @ home; pours cloudy, milky yellow, with nice white, good lacing, mostly lasting head. Aroma is fresh cirtusy, yeasty and it has some malty and spicy floral notes. The taste is somewhat sweet and acidic at the same time, a bit tart, lots of lemmon and orange notes, light malts, yeast and coriander spiceness. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. I love this kind of beer and this is prety lovely, refreshing summer Wit. It has a lot of pleasent and complex aromas and falvours which and very nice balaced.

Bottle from the Brouwcafe, Scheveningen. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light yeast, light banana. The flavour is light sour with a crispy citrus light grapefruit sour palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Itís one of those beers for a BBQ.

Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a hazy yellow color and a nice white head with a lot of bubbles. In the aroma are tones noticable of wheat, yeast, spices and is a little fruity. The taste is light sweet in the beginning to a little bitter end. Further taste is a little hoppy, herbal and is a little watery. The finish is a dry/sour and a little bitter. A standard white, which I will forget soon, but itís refreshing and not the worst in his sort.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2014 Lovely frothy medium sized white head, fading after a while. Nearly opaque pear yellow colour. Noses of floral hops, bit hay, herbs and some faint fruit. On the palate a lively, tangy/lively texture offers a medium body with a light sweetness and some bitterness showing flavours of grass, hops, malt and herbs with coriander sticking out of that bunch. The finish is a little bit dry and well balanced.
