Bottle. Hazy, dark orange pour, with a beige head. Sweet and malty nose, with caramel, fruityness, some spicy notes and dried fruits. Dried fruits and malt starts the flavor, soon followed by caramel, and then a spicyness. It has a long, sweet and slightly spiced finish. Medium to full body. Quite nice, but a bit hard to grade. The total experience is better than if I spilt it into aroma and flavor. (070928)

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy hazzlenut brown with a huge light tan head. Dry and slight mouldy aroma with a mild roasted malt note. Sweet malty flavoured with a mild spice note. Lingering overripe fruity note swept in dark malt flavours into the finish.

Brown color. Roasted malt in the rather herbal aroma. Sweetish, roasted flavor with raisin. Malty and bready. The alcohol is fairly well hidden, but still noticeable. Powerful beer with enough flavor to be pleasurable, but somehow I feel this beer could be much better.

Ambrée trouble, effervescence moyenne, col beige très fin. Malts caramel et légèrement rôtis bien présents, un rien de fruits, petite amertume, trop de sucre, ABV assez bien masqué.

Colour of very strong tea; dense white head, not very stable. Roasted malts and lots of caramel and toffee in the nose, tinge of buttermilk. Uneasy sweet-bitter balance. Bitterness from roasted malts, rather than hops. Finish sways towards a fruity sweetness (yellow apples -maybe caramelised-, figs, ripe pears). Quite chewy mouthfeel, a bit soupy (typical for these bittersweet malt concoctions). Somehow I get an impression of 'not finished'. Not enough lagering? Or just poor choice in biomalts? I remain unconvinced.

Organic ’massieve ale’ commissioned by Natura. Beige, moussy head, dark bronze colour. Fruity esters dominate the nose, I get raisins and apple juice; otherwise coriander, caramel, coffee, some DMS (red cabbage), candi syrup and some alcohol. Fruity, sweet, deep malty taste with a lot of coriander, some roasted bitterishness in the finish as well as badly hidden, somewhat astringent alcohol. Not too well balanced.

Pours cloudy chestnut brown with large beige head. Faint, sour aroma. Alcoholic, yeasty flavour. Not very good.
