20/07 On tap at the brewpub. It poured very dark brown body with small head. Nice caramel aroma spiced with wood ash. Flavor was maily tart and bitter roasted malts, coffee, wood and ash, balanced with wonderful dark chocolate, the most of it I ever remember to encounter in any schwarzbier. Medium, for the style full body with long, pleasant chocolate and coffee finish, slightly tart. Wow what a nice surprise, simply amazing, and I remember we all were very pleased with it. Ratings tell different story. Anyway, I just hope they’ll keep it as their regular and not spoil it.

RBESG ’12, Bratislava. On tap at the brewpub. Almost black, yellowish beige head. Aroma of roast, strong espresso, ash, almost sour, tannic tobacco. Flavour is light sweet, ashy, tart, hard roasted malts, berries, bitter chocolate, tart-bitter finish. Light-bodied. Perhaps a bit more sweetness would do this beer no harm, but I liked it, despite the hangover.

Tap @ brewery during RBESG 2012. Deep brown appearance with a big rich dark brown head that dissipates quickly. Roasty, dark caramel, light chocolate, a bit nutty aroma. A touch acidic, roasty dark chocolate, grassy, straw flavor. A bit fruity, light coffee taste. A bit thin.

Dark brown, quickly disintegrating head. Espresso, earthy, tobacco. Bit different from the other Tmavy we’ve head so far. Nice. Balanced, light soury note, light cacao beans. Smooth body. Good stuff.
