(draught) pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops, marzipan and sweet spices, slightly musty, with notes of pale malts and light grain. flavour is mostly the same, with hints of treebark, earth, grass, roasted malts and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Tap in Munich. Typical Octoberfestbier. A little darker than the ordianry Paulaner. Good but not exciting. Nice on a hot day- but that´s all. Can´t hardly separate from Paulaner Helles.

Luminescent orange, hazy with thick head. Aroma is highly grassy but large, heavy malts and bread. A heavy beer, feels that way and goes to the head. Sweet throughout but is also clean. Too heavy but good.

Hazy amber with a thin head. Yeasty, vaguely caramelly aroma. Largely toasty fest-type. Good character and complexity.

on tap - golden beer with nice white head. Slight malt aroma. Flavour is malty and sweet. A little bir boring.

Pours a honey golden color from the tap with a fluffy white head. Yeasty, with sweet malts, caramel, and butternut squash. Very balanced with respectable lacing.

Malty aroma with hints of bread and yeast. Flavor is ordinary although with a smooth maltiness well balanced with a smooth finishing hop-bitterness.

pours big white foamy head settles to about three fingers thick. Golden colour. Malty aroma straw, grass. flavour is dry and the beer feels a bit metallic in the mouth and the after taste is distinctly sweet.

This is the beer that started my love of the Oktoberfest line. Brownish orange. Slight zing from the carbonation. very smooth malty taste. Could not stress enough that if you are ever in Munich to stop by this brauhaus and give it a try (or maybe 2).
