Light golden color mostly clear with large white frothy head. Very typical of the style with decent medium/light body and immediate sweetness on the tongue with a quick finish with light fruity esters. Great example of the style.

De flesta stora brygerier i bayern vet hur man ska brygga weisbier och Paulaner är inget undantag. Bra krydda, kropp och smak.

(draught) pours a murky copper-brown colour with a frothy white head. aroma of clove, light cinnamon and peaches, wheat, with a hint of burning embers. flavour is mostly wheat and popcorn, with a hint of summer fruit, physalis, slightly heavy and alcoholic. medium to heavy-bodied with lively carbonation.

Pours a hazy orange/yellow with a big daddy white head. Now this is a hefeweizen! Big aroma of spicy cloves and banana. Very effervescent, smooth body that is smooth and a little chewy. Clean flavors of yeast, and clove. Smooth, crisp finish.

Tap @ Paulaner Bräuhaus Munich with neur0. Fairly dark, cloudy orange appearance with an off white head. Herbal, grassy, light fruity, a bit spicy aroma. Tangy, moderately spicy, slightly chewy, bready yeasty flavor. This one wasn’t nearly as spicy as the normal version and not nearly as fruity. I didn’t like this version as much as the original one, but it was still quite tasty.

Tap am Kapuzinerplatz. Very cloudy orange with a large rocky beige head. Lightly sweet and yeasty but not a ton of traditional HW character. Sweet with some wheat and more vanilla. Smooth, clean medium body. Yum.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy amber with an enorous head. Refreshing banana and clove aroma. Quite dry, well-balanced banana and spicy bitterness, ending refreshingly fruity. No doubt a great weizen.
