Milky honey gold under a huge long lasting fine bubbled pale yellow white head. Faint graint sour citrus aroma when cold becoming hoppier and celery like when warmer. Medium body with ordinary low zing flatish type palate. Medium light bitter sweet and sour grainy start. Sweeter grainy banana flavoured middle and thereafter. Pleasant enough but lack real definition and there are many other better hefes out there.

I like white beers, especially in the summer. Dark beer in the winter white in the summer. Nice beer.

No real distinct flavors - a sad muddle of typical weisse esters and citric action. Slightly bettere than average.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2003 This is definitely one of the all-time best beers in the world! It is soooo much better than the other hefeweizens to be had. This is definitely my favorite hefeweizen, and a strong contender for my favorite beer.

Smells like it tastes, which is a good thing. Big lasting foamy head. Dark yellow with slight murkiness depending on how much of the last ounce you pour in. A nice mix of spiciness, sourness and hops. A certain effervescence on the tongue. A weekend afternoon beer with enough character to make it interesting.

Has a citrus smell, and is very cloudy with visible yeast sediment floating around. This beer doesn’t have much bite, thought. Cloves, banana, and the occasional hint of grass. Oh, and yeast. Not too bad for an every-day drink if one can find it on sale.

Goes down smooth. Nice aroma. A lot of citus (lemon?) taste.

Decent. The Ayinger wheat beer is superior to this brew. However, I can’t complain since I can get it for 2.50/pint on draft...

A good wheat. Reminds me of New Belgium’s Sunshine Wheat.

Pale yellow, hazy; moderate character for the style - all the elements are there, not very assertive though. Finishes hoppier and yeastier than some.
