A really nice beer. Cloudy with a good head. Spiced with a hint of fruits. Good fresh and refreshing flavour that lingered nicely without brutalizing the palate. Will definitely be buying this again.

Bottle. A cloudy orange yellow color with a white head. Corriander, orange, and spices in the aroma and flavor. A nice treat.

Hazy yellow, white head. Aroma is yeasty, a little smoky, and with some fruit. Flavor is yeasty and fruity. Quite refreshning but not the best of beers.

Very nice hefe, but not the best I have ever tried. This hefe had a very nice color, that sort of cloudy yellow that you find with hefeweizens. The taste was ok, but left a little to be desired. Poured very nice, with a very nice head that lasted.

Bottle. An excellent hefeweizen. Large, persistent, fluffy white head. Very cloudy, yellow with a bit of brown in the color. Aromas of lemon, lime, orange, clove. Generous body and mouthfeel with a touch of sweetness.

I’m getting ready to brew a hefe today so I want to get some insperation. Pale cloudy yellow with a fluffy white head. Clove spicyness with some citrus in the nose. Soft wheat flavor with some yeast. Again clove spice that lingers a bit. Medium soft bodied. Nice beer. I’d hope so since these guys have been dong it for hundreds of years. Lets go see if I can do better.

decent hefe, very spicy, somewhat cloudy with a light butter aftertaste, not bad on a hot day

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2006 Cloudy yellow with a monster white foamy head if poured right. I drink this every time I get the chance, and have mastered giving it a giant head as seen in the pictures. Not many beers look better than this when you got a 7" head off the glass. Aroma is of bread, cloves, and banana. This brew has a great banana taste that is complimented by cloves, and possibly some other spices as well as bread. To me this is the defining beer of this style. This beer is the reason I can’t resist trying others of this style.

A somewhat cloudy, golden color with a nice head. Aroma is sweet with a slight banana/clove/citrus smell that is typical of hefes. A sweet and light flavor with spices and citrus. Well-carbonated. Overall, a good german hefe.
