Pours hazy gold into a tumbler. Banana and butterscotch notes. Consistent bright white micro head with excellent staying power. Upfront banana low/medium carbonation with a dry crisp finish.

Bottle. A cloudy yellow pour with a large white head. I didn’t get anything other than wheat in the aroma. A nice wheat taste with hints of banana. Generally pretty boring.

Draught @ Red Bones 7/12/06. Pours a bright orange color with a large foamy bright white head. Nose is fruity and citrus with some spicy coriander and light banana hints. Palate is crisp, smooth and clean, amazingly refreshing. Flavor is more of teh orange citrus with some banana and spicy notes with hints of lemon zest.

Bottle. I don’t drink a ton of hefenweizens so call me an amateur, but this beer was tough for me to drink. Salty, spicy, wheat taste. I didn’t pick up on a lot of fruit flavor at all. Nice looking hazy, golden color with a pretty white head. I’ll have to drink a few more natural wheat beers to develop a taste and then come back to this.

Pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is moderately strong, but still stronger than the flavor — malts, banana, bready yeast. The flavor is mainly wheat with some sweet banana and a touch of lemon. A slight tanginess throughout. Highly carbonated, medium body. Refreshing.

Very finely balanced beer. Nice aroma, not too strong. Good pour, orange gold color. I don’t really taste any banana in this one, more of a yeasty sourdough flavor. Easy to drink.

Bottle. Cloudy golden pour. Fluffy head with some large bubbles present. The usual for this style, banana and clove. Refreshing summer beer. Another quality hefe from the Germans, who rarely disappoint with this style. They know their wheat beers well.
