UPDATED: JAN 18, 2005 Too carbonated. But very enjoyable to drink, a quality hefe for the price, comparable to franziskaner.

Wonderful and complex barage of flavor, lost of citrus and spice. if you let it warm a golden honey flavor starts to come through. nice beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance is a very hazy, creamy looking light orange color. Aroma is sweet and fruity.
A little apple and banana aroma. Flavor is a little sweet. Some nice fruity flavors. Kind of a creamy mouthfeel. Finish seems dry and spicy. Nice well balanced brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at The Ruck in Troy. Poured golden yellow with a white head that dissipated completely. The aroma was not as prevalent as I would like, but smelled of some fruit and spice. Taste was pretty standard for a hefe, but nothing too special. Tasted of a little banana with some aromatic spice; not as strong as Ayinger Brau Weisse. Was better with a twist of lemon.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lightly cloudy pale yellow poured with a promising head but it faded. Some sweet banana flavor with a tiny bit of herbal stuff. Decent finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy orange with a good, light yellow head. Nice lacework. Wheat, malt and citrus in the aroma. Rather dry. If you drink it a bit warm, hionts of cloves and banana becomes more evident. A good Hefeweizen.

2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
(on bottle) Small banana and vanilla nose, not too much. A creamy mouth, but, and good for me, not much of that whiped-cream-feel, some hefe has. Small , more appel-ish tastes too. Soft and nice carbonation, dosen´t make me wanna fart after two sips. I´ll even have a second next time up.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2006 It’s good, a little "light" for my taste if talking about weize Beers. But while eating a pretzel isn’t any bad.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Hazy orange with nice bubbly white head. Aroma is cloves, bubblegum, yeast and banana. Taste is true to the aroma, quite sweet, some malts, dry, smooth with a sort of spicey finish. Moderately carbonated. Very good hefeweissbier.
