Pours with a thick, white, fugaceous head and a cloudy golden color. Low carbonation. Very appealing aroma of citrus and spices. Nice flavors, very spicy, fruity and sweet. It has the palate of a wheat beer (of course), light and smooth. All in all, it’s a nice, enjoyable beer.

Very nice orange-gold cloudy body with a dense bulky head. Wonderful fruity (orange, banana) and lightly spiced aroma with some pleasant bubblegum notes. Taste is sweet, refreshing and well balanced. It ends with a fair bittersweet yeasty final. Good example of Bavarian Hefeweizen.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2004 Bottle from The Wine Company, Slough. Wheat, bannana, spice, clove, slight sweetness. Run of the mill hefeweizen which just gets a little too much towards the end!

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2004 Re-rate The second time aroud leads to a higher rating, with the sheer refreshment, and the texture adding points. Served in an authentic glass can surely add a point for appearance.<P> This densely carbonated, spiceless sweet wheat is all about the bubblegum. There is gum in the aroma, in the flavor and in the finish. Clean and drinkable by the gallon.

Surprised I haven’t rated this before. Pours from the bottle with a cloudy gold color and a large white head. Aroma is bananas, bubblegum and tangerines. The taste is sweet with tomatoes, bananas and some honey. A solid hefe.

english pint: lemon, banana, clove, wheat, yeasty, smooth (a little cremey), and easy to drink. this is a good brew. it’s satisfying. sweet (slightly banana) aftertaste. the end of the bottle becomes stale, however, and so it's good off the top with the big and lovely head. still, i like it.

smells of citrus, lemons, and a nice hint of spice. taste is fruity and lemony. a very pleasent hefe to drink, as this is becoming a more and more ordered/bought style for me. yellow colored pour with a white head. smooth, easy drinking, good beer.

Cloudy golden with a fluffly white head. The aroma is lovely. Nice fruity and sweet. There is a hint of banana and very sweet wheat in the flavor. The palate had a watery finish for me, but smooth and effervescent at the begining. I think this is a good summertime beer. It’s light yet kind of sweet and I think a lot of my girlfriends would probally like this one. Nothing fantastic, but a good one to keep a six pack of when you just want to relax and enjoy a descent beer.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2007 Bottle: Aroma is a little on the weak side for a hefeweizen. Basic aroma of citus, cloves, and wheat. Pours a very cloudy orange. Small, large bubbled head that dies quickly. Not much lacing. Malty flavor starts but finishes citrusy and slightly sour. Very carbonated. I never really understood the bubble gum flavor people describe in beer, but after this one I do.

12 oz. brown, long-necked bottle. Freshness date of 02/05 seen in lower right corner of front label.Still fairly fresh then. Poured out a cloudy orange-yellow color, with a bulky head. It left a more than decent head and lacing along the sides of the glass. Aromas are of banana, cloves, and yeast. Malts make a brief, but strong appearance in the aromas as well. No hops aromas evident.Thick mouthfeel. Not thin or cloying. Slight phenolic character to it, not offensive in any manner. Finishes tart, and clean. A top notch wheat beer.
