Not one of my favorite styles, but starting to become a believer. He has a nice cloudy amber color with a lasting thick and creamy head. Has a smooth banana aftertaste that makes the beer even more enjoyable. Still like them with out lemon, but learning more and more each time I try a Hefeweizen.

Very pleasant cloudy look but no significant head. Very crisp and refreshing with a bit of lemon taste. Smooth texture but nothing incredible. Very good appearance.

Exceptional hefeweizen. One of my favourite styles, and this version just proves why. It pours a lovely, consistent cloudy orange marmalade colour with a thick, creamy and lasting head. Dusty banana and cloves aroma with a hint of tutti frutti. A great balanced flavour, with the sweetness counteracted with some sour and bitter. It’s very fresh in the mouth with a medium body and a satisfying aftertaste. I’ll be definitely going back for more of this.

US 12oz Bottle pour - Don’t have any of my weizen glasses with me. Thus, not quite as large a head as I’m used to. Light, cloudy Amber body. Aroma was very nice - banana, clove, cinnamon, fruity. Flavor was excellent - much richer banana flavor with less spice than I prefer. Full, creamy texture with a long, slightly sweet finish. Very nice, indeed. Cheers!

This was my first weissbier - almost 2o years ago - and therefore pure nostalgia. Still tastes great. Cloudy golden colour with a huge lasting head. Aroma and taste of fruit and spices. Full body. This is the original. Every other weissbier is just a copy.

Appears a hazy cloud of gold with a 2 finger white head that slowly fades. Streaky & spotty lacing. Smell is of banana, clove, along with wheat and a touch of creamy vanilla. Taste is of zesty wheat with a clean banana and clove freshness. Mouthfeel is slightly peppery and fizzy with a medium body and some banana sweetness coming through. Drinkability...this is the one that sets the bar for me for the style. Appearance is much better on draft but this is still a great beer out of the bottle.

I may have gotten a lackluster bottle, because this beer comes across as lackluster even if otherwise meeting minimal standards of decency. Very cloudy orange color, quality head retention, lackluster though decent aroma, lackluster flavor with mild wheat crispness and a lackluster soft smooth finish. Reasonably good but uninteresting.

This beer had some flaws. The light aroma was a good start but the over powering sour nose did not help. A good golden copper color helped. A good amoutn of haze. This had a great wheat flavor but was over powered with eh clove like flavor which should not be in this beer. It was ok but it could have been better. I am hoping it was an old bottle.

Hazy orange-honeyish hue, with abig frothy white head, with, yeasty, bready dough, banana, even hint of fruity peach aromas follow through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, wheaty character, leading towards a mellow mouthfelling yeasty finish.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2007 Draught. Hazy, golden straw, nice aroma, served with lemon wedge, great taste, citrus, clove, vanilla and slight yeast taste, esters, hint of root beer in finish. Just an excellent beer. Classic example of good hefeweizen. Incredible on tap and just as good in bottles fresh in Germany.
