Bready hay aroma with hints of alcohol. Pours a beautiful hazy golden orange. Sediment settles beautifully underneath an impressive and disciplined white head, leaving a cloudy golden orange hefe-weizen. Medium-sweet taste that reminds you of the wheat and yeast inside. Perfectly-balanced full body that has an impressively creamy/thin texture. (Also, I might add that the water this beer is made out of must be among the purest on earth!!! Comparable to the freshness of Samuel Smiths). Soft carbonation that accentuates this amazing water taste. Amazingly long, smooth finish is the cherry on top of the banana split. The finest hefe I’ve ever had and among the best beers crafted. Highly recommended!!!!!!

A classic german "Hefeweizen". This means that the yeast, which provides the second bottle fermentation, stays in the bottle. But other than similar belgium beers, the yeast has to go into the glass in order to be drunk with the beer. So these beers are always troubled and the yeast gives a huge part of the taste. The Paulaner surprises with a dryer hop note than most of it’s brothers. Tghis makes it quite unique and is very pleasant. On the other hand, the typical banana hint is much less detectable. Still, it’s a wonderful thirst killer. What makes this Hefeweizen so good, is the fact that it is not the truely typical Hefeweizen. It has it’s own character as it slightly dryer that other Hefeweizens. Sure, if you’re searching for the wonderful banana hints a Erdinger provides e.g., you might be dissapointed. But don’t - relax and enjoy it’s unique combination of flavors.

Hazy orange looks with fluffy and big head on top. Fresh fruits and wheat malts in the aroma. Citrus pops up too but the aroma is on the sweet side rather than bitter. Taste has lots of wheat, fruits and yeast. Medium Body and high carbonation. Well you cannot go much wrong with a Hefeweizen, but I’ve tasted better ones.

caramel, hay, spruce, leaves, earthy, soy sauce, golden, hazy, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness, medium body, slick feel, soft carbonation. Not a big fan of wheat beer, but this was slightly more interesting than others I’ve tried, due to it’s sour taste. Still not a very interesting beer, but decent.

Hazy yellow to light orange beer with a nice, white, frothy and stable head. Aroma of sweet bananas and some cloves in the backgroud, intense. Taste is again sweet banana, a bit of sourness and an acrid touch of carbon dioxide on the palate. Sweet banana lingers for a while in the aftertaste. Strong carbonation. Refreshing, appears to be full-bodied due to the sweet banana notes in aroma and mostly in taste. Really good beer.
