Orangish colour with a medium white head. Sweet with banana notes, a typical Hefeweizen. Cheap and easy to find, a good option for an enjoyable and refreshing time. Much better on tap!

Drought at pub. 0.5l. Will update comment next time I drink it. I forgot exact taste because I drank it few months ago and only made notes about score.

50 cl bottle from Kristiine Prisma in Tallinn (€ 1,85), July 2014. Pours a hazy orange with a massive, light tan / off-white head that retains very well. Nose is terrific. It’s got a malty backbone, both wheat and barley there with a strong presence; additionally some very refreshing fruity, sweet biscuity and sour yeasty aspects; more and more spicy clove as it warms. Taste is equally good: sweet (banana), sour and rich (pickled apple); wheaty, rounded. An enjoyable spicy (clove) finish. Light to medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel. I just took it from the fridge but it still has a certain warmth to it; it’s texture is smooth and soothing, soft and delicate. Surprisingly low in carbonation. Verrry good.

In short: aromatic sour weissbier. Kind of sour and strong for a weissbier, pours brown to orange, more malty flavour and less banana than an average weissbier, great fruity aroma.

Pours what you would expect for a weiss, cloudy golden that pours a couple of fingers white head that reduces to one. Fresh wheat malt to the nose and taste. Taste mild banana and a little fruit. Meh not the best example of a wheat.

500 ml. Hazy, amber color, long-life big sized off-white creamy head, medium body, sour quince and slight sweet malty taste, dry and sour wheaty palate without hoppy notes. Smooth and well-balanced brew.

Poured from a 500ml bottle, bought in Chicago. Best buy date: 11/14. Pours a hazy, light gold/orange color with a thick, finely foamy, almost creamy head that lingers. Aroma is of light malt sweetness, wheat, and dominant banana. Very light and delicate smell. Flavor is lightly sweet up front with a pronounced wheat character. A faint note of apple is present and moderate notes of orange peel throughout. Lingering malt sweetness and wheat character on the back end. No hop presence. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied. Overall a very tasty, well-rounded, and refreshing beer and a great example of the style.

Can from lcbo. Pours orange with thick white head. Mild aroma of bananas with a bit of spice. Tastes strongly of bananas with some sweetness and some clove/cinnamon. Very refreshing. Lingering banana aftertaste.
