A - Pours a hazy amber with a three finger white head. Very good retention and lacing. S - Clove, banana, grainy malt. T - Zesty citrus, banana, spicy, must, biscuit, lemon, floral notes. M - Zesty, light citrus zing on the tongue, slight oily finish. O - Exemplary of the style. One of the best hefeweizens available. I like this slightly better than Weihenstephaner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

See it everywhere, finally tried it. Hazy deep gold. Nose is tart wheat, lemon, a bit of sulphur. Flavour is pretty standard b/c with some sulphur, not particularly fresh. Pretty good.

On tap, poured a milky orange hue w/ a medium frothy head w/ a lasting cap. Light sweet fruity aroma. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a faint bitter finish. Tastes are banana, orange, and a light grapefruit. Light bodied and a light creamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy orange like colour. Huge yeasty aroma with banana and kitchen spice and some wheat as well. On the palate it is quite carbonated and kind of pops on the tongue. Medium bodied and fast flavour profile with an equally fast finish. Yeasty and hints of spice. Classically styled.

Transfer from BA review on 11-3-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a very lightly hazed orange amber color with a thick and billowy white head. The head has fantastic retention fading to leave a decent amount of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heavy of a yeasty and wheaty aroma. It is mixed with a decent black pepper and banana smell. Quite a classic Hefe aroma and quite nice. Taste – The taste begins with flavors of wheat bread and a biscuit maltiness meeting the tongue. A light orange flavor is upfront which seems to grow stronger as the taste advances. While the orange grows stronger, other flavors of a yeasty nature come to the tongue. The biscuit begins to fade with the wheaty tastes and the orange citrus grows even stronger. In the end a light yeast and nice citrus wheat flavor are left on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is quite creamy for an only 5.5 abv brew. It has a moderate to average level of carbonation. The beer sooths the tastebuds as it passes through the mouth. It is great for the tastes of the beer and quite drinkable. Overall – A nice easy drinking Hefe with a fantastic transitions and tastes in the flavor. A very nice drinking brew.

Yeasty aroma. Pours a hazy golden yellow with small white head. Taste is yeasty with muted clove and banana. Body seems a little heavier than other hefes. Good solid hefeweisse. Inspired by another poster, I rate this behind Weihenstephaner but ahead of Franziskaner.

50cl fles. Goudgele kleur. Witte volle schuimkraag. Eerste smaakimpressie : zoetig, citrus, licht banaan smaak, geen overheersende koolzuur. Lekker blond biertje.
