Heavily spicy, pepper nose with cloves and yeast. Deep cloudy yellow color. Taste was cloves, some banana, a nice mouthful of spice. Finishes yeasty and spicy.

Molt bona cervesa. Bon color, molt bon sabor i un cos turbi.

Picked up this classic again. This is the classic most widely available hefe-wiezen and while it pales in comparison to the local Brauhaus stuff it is still pretty decent. Its on the sharp side and the taste a little thin. If you look there are better offerings around. Take hacker-pschorr effort. Look its okay but a dull Hefe-Wiezen. Disappointed on my return. Always makes me wish I was in southern germany drinking the real thing!

Looks hazy light golden with a creamy white head. What a great fruity and spicy aroma. Tasting brings out banana, citrus and spiciness from the wheat. Distinctive and true esters. All flavors combined with a super creamy mouth feel. Excellent Hefeweizen.

In bottiglia. Colore arancio chiaro/oro, riflessi giallo pallido.

Pours a clouded golden color, with a huge, froth head. Smells of clove, lemon peel and unripe banana among a pleasantly sour yeast pillow. Drinks perfectly easy, utmost creamy on the tongue with a refreshing finish. Tastes of peppery spices among a banana and citrus fruitiness, tied together by an awesome softness, resulting from the prominent, tart yeast. Has a white bread maltiness during the finish, together with ripened banana and a bubbly carbonation. Very smooth, perfectly put together with a lemony, enjoyable twist to it, creating a satisfying refreshment.

Pours a hazy looking golden colour with big and creamy long lasting white head. Refreshing smell of wheat and grass. Typical taste of wheat beer - yeast, grass, spices. It tends to fall on the fruity, sweet side. Excellent balance. Medium body, medium carbonation, creamy texture. Very pleasant aftertaste. Overall, excellent wheat beer. Recommended!

Hazy golden-orange color with fluffy white head. Sweet, wheaty aroma with notes of citrus and banana. Taste is medium sweetness with light and crispy mouthfeel.

330mL bottle BBE: 10/16. Medium chill (approx. 10 degrees). Pours a cloudy amber-copper body with medium, lasting, tight, creamy, off-white head. Medium intensity nose that’s metallic, with banana milk and bread. A light-medium pancakey sweetness predominates, with a light bitterness providing balance. On the palate, a medium body has a velvety texture, medium carbonation and a short, clove-infused finish. Clearly an accomplished Hefe that’s made to appeal to the masses, but there’s nothing special going on here.
