4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20Let me iterate firstly that I have always been impartial to wheat/white beers. I really enjoy the citrus taste and find it a delicious alternative to the bitter side of beer when I need reprieve.
This beer has a foamy bright white head that dissipates at a medium to slow pace.
The taste is leans towards being one sided as most beers this style tend to be, though the individuality of the ingredients is best enjoyed without the usual orange/lemon slice that’s served in the glass.
The beer itself is gorgeous. A delightfully opaque bright orange glow accentuates the thick, sediment laden character of the beer, usually leaving flavorful sediment in the bottom of the glass/bottle you drink it from.
I’ve had this beer a thousand times either in a bottle or on tap -- it’s always a treat. Especially when you need to town down from a recent IPA binge.
I seem to bounce between these two styles of beer semi-regularly.

Great Hefeweizen. Reminded me of when I was in Germany recently. Very cloudy and great aroma. Would definitely get again.

Have had this a few times now, but couldn’t remember it. Had again from keg in Stockholm. Orange, estery, spicey finish. Decent wheat beer.

This hefe has a nice sweet aroma of banana bread. It is a cloudy gold color. It has that typical yeasty hefe flavor.

Had this on the patio at McMaster’s Phoenix. A wonderful iteration of the hefe-weissbier; pours a cloudy golden orange colour with a nice fluffy head. Taste is the best kind of wheat beer: fruity, with bananas and some orange, citrus, and the like, with a nice wheat character. Very refreshing and is one of the best examples of what this type of beer has to offer--sessionable and great for relaxing times without losing any flavour.

Had it on tap. Good wheat beer. Mild and fruity taste. The color is orange with uniform cloudiness, and large head. I can see why it’s popular at Octoberfest.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Gyllene grumlig vätska med högt skum. Tydlig doft av skumbanan och gammal källare. Oväntat torr smak. Medellång eftersmak.
