brnandersen (1933) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2014
33 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber-golden colour with a big, fluffy white head. Spicy aroma with wheat malts, sweet fruits, pepper, some earthy notes, yeasts and lemon. Taste is light sweet. Light body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Short, dry and spicy finish with fruits, grains and wheat malts. Obviously thinner and less flavourful than the regular version. However, for a Low Alcohol beer quite nice and drinkable.

Bottle@ De Tolly Joogipood. Pours hazy olden with medium head. Aroma is grainy, yeasty and sour malty. Taste is grainy-bready (rye like), medium sour, grassy. Not like hefeweissen, but its good non-alcoholic beer.

Mökillä. Quite good low alcoholic, quite bad hefeweizen. Big, foamy, long-lasting top.

330ml bottle. Hazy yellow orange color with medium head. Aroma is cardboard and so is taste.

Pours hazy golden with a medium-sized frothy head. The aroma displays elements that can be found in a proper hefeweizen, also: it is fairly malty, with the emphasis on hay and wheat, and a bit fruity. Taste is grainy, papery and on the whole fairly artificial and watery. No banana, not much wheatiness, let alone yeast. Light body, fairly fresh to drink at least. Far from the standards of a true hefeweizen.

In Munich, was free. A bit malty for the style. Hazy, a bit yeasty. Not something I usually would have picked up.

German queasy orange-alcoholic beer with a disgusting taste of wet bread. :-(

(tap) cloudy orange amber colour with a medium tall white head - and this is the only element that resembles real beer; aroma of soy sauce, stock; no flavour to speak of - like diluted dishwater; I can think of no reason why anyone would drink this

50cl bottle from Biernavigatie. Pale orange with a medium white soapy head. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Fruit, wheat, grass and hay. Quite a decent NA beer.
